If you have a certification for a Home Health Aid in California and a valid class 3 driver’s license from California, you are welcome to apply as a home health aide with Kaiser Permanente. You have to obtain a current California driver record information within the last month as well. A two year experience as a home health aide is also required. You should also be a certified anesthesia technician with a certification from the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians. Having a certificate of training for Drager Anesthesia System and PPS Saracap is also a must. You are responsible for assisting a patient with transfers, walking or ambulation, exercises and the prescribed rehabilitation procedures. You are also expected to do some household services for the patient such as doing the patient’s laundry, keeping the bedroom clean and generally keeping the house safe for the patient.
